17 November 2025
Our athletes are currently facing several challenges as they compete internationally. Some team members are still using old running shoes, and the absence of a training camp prior to departure has affected overall readiness. In addition, the new starting-light system, featuring light red, orange and green signals, is unfamiliar and athletes are still adapting to it.

Performance Update
β€’ Elifas has successfully qualified for the 400m event.
β€’ The rest of the team will continue with the 200m races on the following day.

Dear Namibia fans,

We have unfortunate news: our two Judo athletes will not be able to participate because their weights did not meet the required category limits, and they have therefore been disqualified.
It’s not only Deaf Namibia affectedβ€”several other countries are also facing similar disappointment.

Let us stay humble and continue supporting our team. Stay tuned for the opening ceremony this afternoon.
