The Spirit of Africa: An Art Exhibition by Frans Nambinga

Please join us for an inspiring body of work by Frans Nambinga, a talented Namibian artist whose passion for art has been evident since childhood. Frans acquired his skills through formal education at the John Muafangejo Art Centre, the College of the Arts, as well as various workshops and an art residency in China.

Frans's artistic journey began at Olukula Primary School, where he impressed his teachers and community members with his drawings. His creativity flourished as he transformed his schoolbooks into sketchbooks, always eager to share his talent during school activities.

Recognising his potential, his mother supported his artistic aspirations by sending him to Windhoek for formal training.

Frans is now excited to present a new body of work in his upcoming solo exhibition, The Spirit of Africa, which will run from 18 June to 31 July 2026 at the Namibian Arts Association Gallery.

This exhibition promises to be a deep exploration of the African spirit and the essence of Africa as seen through Frans's eyes.

We invite you to take part in this unique opportunity to not only invest in art, but to beautify your space with works that resonate with deep cultural significance. Your support not only nurtures Frans's artistic journey but also contributes to the wider appreciation of Namibian art.

All artworks have been produced from the heart of Havana by Frans Nambinga.
