Every time our young men step onto the soccer field, they are doing more than playing a match they are growing in character, discipline, teamwork, and faith.

Our Soccer Ministry continues to provide a safe and positive environment where young men can build meaningful friendships, develop their talents, and be mentored to become responsible leaders in their families, communities, and the Kingdom of God. Through every training session and every match, we are reminded that sport is a powerful tool for sharing hope, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and pointing lives to Christ.

To all our players, coaches, and supporters thank you for investing in the next generation.

Today we had the privilege of partnering with the Khomas Regional Council Gender and Child Welfare office for a Community Awareness Programme focusing on Anti-Human Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

The programme created an important platform to educate, engage, and empower members of our community on how to recognize the signs of human trafficking and GBV, understand their impact, and learn how we can all play a role in preventing these crimes.

A heartfelt thank you to our Young Adults for their support and taking leadership. Together, we are raising awareness, inspiring hope, and working towards communities where everyone can live free from violence, fear, and exploitation.

What a blessed and inspiring day as our Corps Music Section gathered for a special retreat, taking time to revisit and strengthen the foundation of The Salvation Army Music Ministry.

From the beginning of our movement, music has been at the heart of our mission proclaiming the Gospel, reaching communities, encouraging believers, and creating opportunities for people to encounter God. Our bands, songsters, worship teams, and musicians are not simply providing music; we are called to be ministers who use music as a tool for evangelism and discipleship.

During the retreat, we reflected on the heritage, purpose, and spiritual responsibility of Salvation Army musicians. We were reminded that effective music ministry requires more than musical ability it requires a surrendered heart, spiritual maturity, discipline, commitment, and a desire to glorify God above all else.

As we continue to serve through music, may we remain faithful to the calling God has placed upon us. May every note we play, every song we sing, and every ministry opportunity we embrace point people to Jesus Christ.

A sincere thank you to all our musicians, leaders, and participants who invested their time and energy into making this retreat a meaningful and enriching experience. May God continue to bless and use our music sections as powerful instruments of mission in our communities.

Young Men’s Fellowship Recap | The Salvation Army Namibia

What a powerful and impactful time we shared as young men coming together in fellowship, reflection, and growth.

We had honest conversations about identity, discipline, and purpose and were challenged to examine our lives and make better choices moving forward. It was a time of restoration, encouragement, and brotherhood.

We were reminded that true strength is found in discipline, consistency, and knowing who we are in God.

A big thank you to our guest speakers and everyone who made the day a success.

If you missed it, you missed a life-changing moment but there is more to come. 💪

We invite all young men to join us next time as we continue building men of purpose, character, and faith.

With grateful hearts, we celebrate the success of our Winter Drive as we continue serving God's people with love, compassion, and care.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our corps members and dedicated volunteers who gave their time, energy, and support to make this outreach possible. Your willingness to serve has brought warmth, hope, and encouragement to many lives during this winter season.

Together we have demonstrated that when people unite with a heart for service, we can make a meaningful difference in our community. Every contribution, every helping hand, and every act of kindness has been a reflection of God's love in action.

We are honoured and grateful to have been part of the Gams Arts and Cultural Festival, organised by the City of Windhoek. It was a great privilege for The Salvation Army to be granted the opportunity to lead the parade, reflecting the strong and ongoing partnership and engagement we continue to build with the City of Windhoek and the wider community.

As The Salvation Army, we remain committed to serving people, building relationships, and actively participating in initiatives that promote unity, culture, and community development. Events such as these remind us of the power of coming together to celebrate diversity and strengthen the bonds that make our communities thrive.

Today, the Songsters shared the ministry through the beautiful song,Grace Alone.

The message of the song reminds us that we are saved by God’s grace and strengthened to do good works through Him alone. Inspired by Ephesians 2:8–10, it encourages us to remember that salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn.

May we continue to walk in faith, gratitude, and obedience, giving all glory to God for His amazing grace.

What an amazing week we had at our Holiday Kids Club! Under the theme “In the Light,” the children enjoyed a wonderful time of learning, growing, laughing, and having fun together. From exciting activities to meaningful lessons, every moment was filled with joy and light.

A huge THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and love to make this week such a success. Your dedication and support made a real difference in the lives of the children, and we truly appreciate each one of you.
