The Have-a-Heart Project spay and neuters animals in various township in Windhoek. Our main aim is to reduce the amount of stray animals in townships by hosting mass sterilisation campaigns. The majority of the population in Namibia live in poverty in the townships and therefore do not have means to take their animals to vets to be spay or neutered of even for basic healthcare. With the help of lo
cal and international vet, The Have-a-Heart Project aim to change the destiny of hundreds and thousands of puppies and kittens that is born every year only to die of starvation, illnesses or unintentional cruel treatment of their owners. The Have-a-Heart Project relies completely on donations and the goodwill of the public.
