Findus and Lizzy are two siblings that were adopted together
But then Lizzy was not eating and turned out she had constipation
A few days later she came to the vet due to a pr*****ed colon (part of the colon came out of the a**s)
Even though she is tiny the vet was able to fix this and she was much better the next day
But then in the afternoon she had to be rushed to the vet due to vomiting, low temperature and low sugar. She was stabilised, but it was confirmed that she had An intussusception of the bowel. This means that the colon folds into itself. This could possibly be fixed, but the prognosis is slim.
By the evening we had to make the hard decision to let her cross the rainbow bridge. 😔
Thank you to Windhoek Veterinary Clinic cc for helping as much as one possibility can.
Unfortunately if the patient dies we still have to pay our invoice at the vet.
Any amount will be more than appreciated.

Something magical happened in Mariental this past week. ❤️

Dr Erna from VetsWeb Mariental and an incredible team of volunteers pulled off a spayathon that left everyone tired, exhausted... and very happy.

Cats and dogs received the care they needed, communities came together, and countless future litters were prevented.

This photo is just a small glimpse of what was achieved.

We'll be sharing more stories, photos and results over the coming days, so watch this space. 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part. Together, we are changing lives.
