We are pleased to invite you to a CPD presentation focusing on the Health Professions Act 16 of 2024 and its recent amendments on *Thursday, 26 February 2026 at 14h00 (Online) by Ms. Visser from the HPCNA.*

This session will explore the practical and ethical implications of the updated legislation, with specific attention to how it impacts professional conduct, accountability and regulatory compliance within our field. Staying informed about these changes is vital to maintaining ethical standards and safeguarding the integrity of our profession.

We are an association of professionals within the school of psychology who have banded together in order to further psychology as a profession. We are continuously in the process of building relationships and networking in order to better serve the Namibian community and to spread awareness about mental health.

Our aims are as follows:

Ψ To advance the theory, practice and professional exercise of Psychology as a science, and to stimulate research;

Ψ To further contact between Psychology and other disciplines and professions;

Ψ To counter abuses in the area pertinent to Psychology as a science;

Ψ To gather and distribute relevant information;

Ψ To act as mouthpiece for members of the Association.
