You may remember the kitten whose paw was tied with a rope โ and whose owner wanted to pour boiling water over him. ๐
A young man named Maldini stepped in and saved him from that cruel fate.

Together with Triglav Trust, we collected him and rushed him to the vet. X-rays revealed that the tiny bones in his paw had been crushed and that the rope had caused deep damage. ๐
Five months later, his paw still carries those scars โ and always will. Some of the tiny bone fragments have worked their way out, while some of his little finger bones have fused together. ๐
But just look at him now! ๐ฅน๐งก
His scars didn't change his heart. He is the sweetest, most loving and energetic young cat โ full of trust, cuddles and love. โค๏ธ
His family named him Maldini, after the young man who saved him, but lovingly calls him ๐๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ป. ๐ฆ
He survived. And now he is living the life he always deserved โ to the fullest. Climbing trees, chasing butterflies and locusts, and simply enjoying being a young cat. ๐งก๐พ

There are countless cats who endure hunger, injuries, illness, cruelty and neglect โ simply because they were born into a life they never chose. They are unwanted, yet they are just trying to survive and exist. ๐๐พ
