Today, we celebrate the teachers who educate, inspire, empower and help shape brighter futures. 📚🧡

Happy World Teachers’ Day from the Nangula Mbako Foundation.

Today, we remember the courageous children of Soweto who, on 16 June 1976, stood up against injustice and paid a heavy price in the fight for dignity, equality, and quality education.

Their bravery became a symbol of resilience and hope across Africa, reminding us that the voices of children matter and that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and thrive.

As we commemorate the Day of the African Child, we honor the legacy of those young heroes by renewing our commitment to protecting children’s rights, expanding access to education, and creating a future where every African child can reach their full potential.

“The dreams of our children are the foundation of Africa’s tomorrow.”

Happy Day of the African Child.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the pain endured, and the resilience of the Namibian people during the 1904–1908 Genocide.

At the Nangula Mbako Foundation, we believe remembrance must inspire action. Through community empowerment, youth development, education, and social impact initiatives, we remain committed to creating a future where every voice matters and every life is valued.

May we never forget the sacrifices of those who came before us, and may we honour their legacy by building a more compassionate and inclusive Namibia for generations to come.

“We remember not only to mourn the past, but to protect the future.”

Happy Africa Day 🌍✨

At the Nangula Mbako Foundation, we believe Africa’s greatest resource has never been what’s beneath the soil, it’s the people rising above every limitation with courage, vision, and hope. 🤍

Today, we celebrate a continent filled with dreamers, builders, innovators, and communities that continue to choose compassion, resilience, and unity. Every life empowered, every child encouraged, and every community uplifted is part of the Africa we are shaping together.

“A stronger Africa is built when ordinary people are given the opportunity to do extraordinary things.”

Happy Africa Day from the Nangula Mbako Foundation.

Happy World Press Freedom Day 🕊️

Press freedom is not just a right, it is the heartbeat of democracy. It gives a voice to the unheard, holds power accountable, and protects truth in our societies. Without it, transparency fades and justice is compromised.

At NMF, we believe in impact that lasts. Our time at Sophia’s Soup Kitchen focused on reviving their garden as a step toward sustainable nourishment, while also sharing food items, a warm meal, and donating clothes and shoes to the children. It’s in these moments of giving and growing that dignity, hope, and community truly come alive. 🌱🤍
