KGM hosted the Stop Bullying, Stop Abuse Workshop this past Saturday, which was presented by Dr Darleen Edwards.

Two of the most serious threats to children’s wellbeing is bullying (in its many forms) and sexual abuse.

We learned so much! From identifying it to practical strategies to teach children safety.

Five important truths ✨

1. He loves us: God has already demonstrated His love through Jesus Christ.
2. We must believe His love: We choose to believe that God loves us even when our circumstances are painful or confusing.
3. We must remain in His love: We return our thoughts to the truth of the cross instead of allowing emotions and difficulties to define God’s character.
4. His love becomes perfected in us: As we grow in His love, it changes our thoughts, speech, reactions and relationships.
5. We love Him and others: God’s love is not meant to stop with us. We demonstrate it by loving others sacrificially and seeking what is best for them.
