Tsumeb Basketball High Performance Centre

Tsumeb Basketball High Performance Centre Famously known as the HPC, The High-Performance Centre was established in Tsumeb on the 05 April 2013.

The HPC was one of the first basketball performance centre opened by Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) around the country. The Tsumeb was one of the first basketball performance centre opened by Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) around the country. With its inauguration, The NBF former development officer Mrs Francina Amakali, NBF’s German expert Frank Albin, Head Coach Iyaloo Francisco and

local volunteers organised the first Mini Basketball Jamboree, on the 06 of April 2013. The HPC is designed to identify, develop and foster the skills of young athletes who aspires to compete on national and international levels of basketball. HPC will provide development, training and support athletes identified at each level. Whilst also aiming for selection in the Namibian under 17 and Under 20 junior teams and beyond. In formulating the individual performance program, each individual athlete training workload, work and academic commitments will be considered to ensure every student athlete has greater chance of achieving success.
