Have-a-Heart Lüderitz, Aus & Bethanie The project is run by volunteers and fully dependent on donations - every cent of your donation is used for the welfare of Namibia's dogs and cats. THANK YOU!

Have-a-Heart Namibia, is a registered non-profit organisation, partnering with private vets in Namibia to provide free sterilisation services to dogs and cats of low and no income families to humanely and sustainably reducing stray animal populations. This is the official page of the 'Have-a-Heart Namibia' project - a much needed project that allows us to provide free spay and neuter services to d

ogs and cats of low and no income families across Namibia, also in areas currently without veterinary services. Have-a-Heart is a registered non-profit organisation in Namibia (21/2014/0378) which aims to reduce stray animal populations in a sustainable and humane way, thus eliminating the need for mass euthanasia. Since starting in 2013, Have-a-Heart has grown to having teams working in several towns across Namibia and has collectively sterilised over 21,000 animals (November 2023). Oh Mia is a cutie! And we're happy that she has a nice and responsible family in Rehoboth, Namibia. Mia was spayed last year through our Partner Have a Heart-Namibia, so when her owners asked the clinic in Rehoboth for help because she was hit by a car, we knew she was eligible for the AKI-HaH Emergency Fund, https://www.animal-kind.org/namibia. We're glad that she's able to walk (but seems to like being held!) and nothing is broken, but she was given painkillers and we hear she's already feeling like her old self.
