NASA OSHANA REGION | SCHOOL VISIT

On 08 October 2026, NASA Oshana Region visited Ekwafa Secondary School in Ongwediva to encourage and motivate learners ahead of their upcoming examinations.

The NASA Advocates also engaged learners on the importance of good behaviour, discipline, and standing against bullying within the school community.

The team had the opportunity to witness learners campaigning for LRC positions, demonstrating confidence, leadership, and the spirit of our future leaders.

We sincerely appreciate the warm welcome from the teachers and learners of Ekwafa Secondary School. The visit was a meaningful and inspiring experience.

Some learners were also gifted notebooks by NASA Advocates as a small gesture of support and encouragement.

Today’s learners are tomorrow’s leaders. Let us continue to inspire, empower and build a better generation.

On 3 October 2026, NASA delegates visited Namport as part of our commitment to empowering and educating the leaders of tomorrow about career opportunities, education and making informed career choices.

It was a successful and inspiring educational tour, giving young people an opportunity to learn, ask questions and see possibilities beyond the classroom.

Listen to the young leaders. Empower them. Invest in their future.

“ Don’t be a foreigner in your own country.”

The National African Students’ Association (NASA) advocates for the integration of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into Namibia’s school curriculum.

We believe that education should not only prepare learners to seek employment, but also equip them with practical, hands-on skills to create opportunities, pursue
self-employment, and actively participate in Namibia’s emerging and growing industries.

Integrating TVET from an early stage can help build a generation that is skilled, innovative, adaptable and ready to contribute meaningfully to Namibia’s economic development.

NASA IN ACTION
COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN
Walvis Bay, 19 September 2026

On 19 September 2026 the National African Students' Association (NASA) proudly joined the Walvis Bay Mayor's Office for a Community Clean-Up Campaign in Walvis Bay.

Led on the ground by the NASA Erongo Region, our advocates showed up not just for students but for the community that surrounds them.

Because real student leadership goes beyond the classroom. It shows up in the streets, in the community, and wherever it is needed most.
Together we promoted a cleaner, healthier environment and raised awareness on proper waste management one street at a time.

Well done to NASA Erongo Region for representing the association with pride and purpose. This is the Revolutionary Generation in action.
