The Government of the Republic of Namibia through the Green Hydrogen Programme invites youth to apply for the available scholarships.

On Friday, 22 September 2023, the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 Team will be in 𝐎𝐩𝐮𝐰𝐨 for a 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 where information will be shared about Green Hydrogen and the application process. We encourage all youth to participate, engage and apply for the scholarships.

The Team will be at the Roman Catholic Hall, opposite the Old Home Affairs/Government Garage at 09H00. Please attend.

Dear graduates, it is your season. Congratulations on your graduation! Your hard work, determination, and perseverance have paid off. You have shown that anything is possible with dedication and effort. As students from Kaokoland, from the rugged terrains and remote villages, from the valleys and the mountains and the rivers, you have made your community proud. At the invitation of Alliance for Food Security (AFSA) and Consortium for Climate Change Ethiopia (CCC-E), Venomukona Tjiseua is representing Kaokoland Descendants Welfare Organisation (KADEWO) at a continental meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The meeting is discussing and creating a clear road map for embracing agroecology as a workable and sustainable adaptation and mitigation response to the climate problem. The conference will also generate significant requests for UNFCCC parties and decision-makers to present at the COP27 in Egypt.

Venomukona Tjiseua is an expert in Agriculture and holds a Masters in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Free State, South Africa. Other expertise include research, project management, community training/mentorship and food security.

09 MARCH 2022 | We delivered 130 mattresses to Oukongo Primary School today. The mattresses worth N$ 44,830.19 were sourced by KADEWO from CHAKULA FOODS CC for the school.

Office of the Governor, Kunene Region, provided transport from factory in Okahandja to the school.
