Our Marketing Team participated in the Educational Career Fair Roadshow organised by the Ohangwena Region Directorate of Education, which took place from 14 to 23 July 2026.

The roadshow covered all education circuits within the Ohangwena Region, providing an excellent platform to engage with learners from Grade 8 to Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level. During the career fair, our team visited the following circuits:

-Okongo
-Ohakafiya
-Epembe
-Otunganga
-Ondobe
-Ongha
-Ohangwena
-Endola

The career fair aimed to support junior and senior secondary school learners as they explored various career pathways and made informed decisions about their future education and career choices.

Our team had the opportunity to interact with learners, provide information about our institution and programmes, answer questions, and promote the value of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). These engagements helped raise awareness of the diverse opportunities available through TVET and encouraged learners to consider vocational education as a viable and rewarding career pathway.

The career fair played an important role in promoting a more positive perception of TVET by showcasing its contribution to skills development and employment opportunities. The event highlighted TVET as a valuable pathway that equips individuals with practical skills and empowers them to contribute meaningfully to the country's economic growth.

Overall, the roadshow was a successful initiative that enabled us to reach a large number of learners across the Ohangwena Region, strengthen relationships with schools, and promote greater awareness and appreciation of TVET education.

We have successfully concluded the first week of the Oshana Regional Career Fair Roadshow at Eheke Secondary School on the 13 June 2026.

Grade 10–AS learners from Kapembe Combined School, Ompandakani Combined School, Ambili Secondary School, Omusimboti Combined School, and Eheke Secondary School engaged with exhibitors, exploring career and training opportunities.

It was an enriching and exciting experience for learners, teachers, and exhibitors alike. We look forward to reaching even more learners in the weeks ahead.

We had the pleasure of engaging Grade 11 AS learners from Gabriel Taapopi SS, Okatana SS, Liberty Heritage Private School, Ekwafo Secondary School, and Panaam Private School at Gabriel Taapopi Secondary School.

The session focused on creating awareness about the TVET programmes offered at COSDEC Ondangwa and the opportunities available through skills training.

Thank you to all the learners and schools for their participation. Together, we are shaping the future through skills development and career guidance.

Our Career Fair Roadshow made its way to Ongwediva Secondary School, where we had the privilege of engaging with Grade 10 to AS Level learners during an insightful career guidance session.

The session brought together learners from:
• Mweshipandeka Secondary School
• Kleine Kuppe Private School
• Cabatana Private School
• Oshana Secondary School of Computing
• Dr Sydney Memorial School

The engagement provided learners with valuable information on career pathways, study opportunities at COSDEC Ondangwa and the skills needed to make informed decisions about their future. We are excited to continue inspiring and empowering young minds as they prepare for the world of work and higher education.

The Oshana Annual Outreach Career Fair 2026 officially commenced on 08 June 2026 at Iipumbu Senior Secondary School in Oshakati.

During the outreach, we engaged Grade 9 to AS learners from Oshakati Senior Secondary School, Erundu Senior Secondary School, Evululuko Senior Secondary School, Ntuli Senior Secondary School, and Kapolo Combined School.

The initiative aims to reach and empower more learners, particularly those in remote areas, by providing guidance on vocational training opportunities and the diverse career pathways available through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The outreach programme is scheduled to run until 16 June 2026, continuing to inspire and equip learners with the information they need to make informed career choices.

We were honored to witness the official opening of the Omaludi Agricultural Festival by Her Excellency Dr Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia and Patron of the Festival, accompanied by Retired Lieutenant General Denga Ndaitwah, First Gentleman of the Republic of Namibia, Cabinet Ministers, Governors, Regional Councillors, and Local Authority Councillors from various regions and towns across the country.

Together with COSDEF Oyetu Project, we are proudly exhibiting at the festival until 30 May 2026.
