From 12th June to 10th August, our team had the privilege of coming together in Nairobi, Kenya for a meaningful season of working, learning, planning, and serving together.
Over these two months, team members shared their gifts, experience, ideas, and passion as we worked towards our common goals. It was a valuable time of collaboration, strengthening relationships, encouraging one another, and seeing the impact that can come when people work together with a shared vision.
We are grateful for the lessons learned, the work accomplished, and the many moments we shared along the way.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this time in Nairobi special and productive. God bless you.

This past weekend, the Genesis Design Global Team had the privilege of facilitating a two-day training session with staff from Christ Hope International and several local ministry partners. It was a deeply encouraging time together as we discovered that many of those attending had already been actively using the materials prepared by our lesson development team.

Throughout the training, we journeyed through the foundational principles that form the heart of Genesis Design. The sessions were highly interactive, allowing for meaningful discussions, thoughtful questions, and a deeper understanding of God’s design for humanity. It was a joy to see the participants engage so wholeheartedly with the content.

The enthusiasm and hunger to learn were so evident that the group requested additional time together. As a result, we will continue the training on 8 August, just before Jos and Sylvia return to Namibia.

What a privilege it is to invest in the lives of men and women who are faithfully serving children, families, and communities, and who are committed to breaking destructive cycles for generations to come. We are grateful to God for every opportunity He gives us to equip others for His Kingdom.

During the Convocation, we experienced an unexpected and severe hailstorm here at the Global Office facility. In less than one hour, more than 100 mm of rain fell in the area, causing significant flooding. Several of the ground-floor units were affected by water damage, while a number of the first-floor units experienced roof leaks.

We would greatly appreciate your continued prayers as we work through the necessary repairs and renovations. Some of the ceilings will need to be replaced, and there is some restoration work ahead.

Please also pray for the insurance claim process, that it will move forward smoothly and quickly, allowing the repairs to begin as soon as possible. We are grateful for God's protection during the storm and for your ongoing support during this time.

During a two day refresher training with Christ's Hope International - Uganda staff on age appropriate teaching, we were greatly encouraged by their enthusiasm to teach the lessons and how they have also learnt from them.

At the Africa Missions Day in Pringle Bay, South Africa, Tracy Osche enjoyed being in charge of the Genesis Design display, and meeting so many enthusiastic people involved in mission work. She showed the age-appropriate lessons we are developing to teach children, youth and adults the key messages of our curriculum about their God-given, original design regarding manhood, womanhood, sexuality and marriage.
