The Eco Champions Programme is looking for dedicated Volunteer Mentors to guide and support young people (Eco Champions) as they develop and implement impactful youth-led projects.

International Youth Day 2026 | Different Contexts, Common Aspirations

This International Youth Day, we celebrate 1,112 young people empowered across our youth development projects in 2025-2026.
From digital skills to employability and entrepreneurship skills, climate action, life skills and personal development, we walked alongside young people from different backgrounds, supporting them to discover their potential, build new skills and create opportunities for their futures.
Their journeys may look different, and their dreams may take them into different fields, but the aspiration is shared: empowered youth who are ready to shape brighter futures for themselves, their families and their communities.

At SOS Children’s Villages Namibia, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations” means meeting young people where they are, investing in their potential and empowering them to thrive.
