As we prepare to see off the year, our hearts are full as we reflect on how faithful God has been. This year didn’t start the way we expected. Moving out of a ministry office meant changing how we do ministry, and it led us into a new season of house to house Bible studies for our Thrive communities. It wasn’t always comfortable, from hosting one another, noisy neighbors during Bible study, busy schedules, jobs, and varsity life, but God carried us through every challenge.
We have witnessed beautiful growth in maturity, character, and everyday faith. Seeing lives shaped by Christ and a deeper dependence on Jesus has been one of the greatest rewards of this year.
Our youth and young adults stepped out of their comfort zones at the YWAM National Youth Camp, and we also took a bold step through our Divundu outreach, over 700km away. From creative fundraising to sharing on national radio, God stretched us in ways we didn’t expect.
Additionally this year we had to pause some programs like Hope Café and other community initiatives, but ministry continued in small and meaningful ways, showing up, helping where we could, and trusting God for the right timing. As we look ahead, we are prayerfully working toward securing a property we believe is key for the next season of the ministry.
Thank you to everyone who supported us prayerfully and financially. We truly could not do this without you.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a blessed, hope filled New Year 🎄✨
