🌿 Celebrating Community & Culture!

We were so excited to participate in the Zambezi Bream Festival & Cultural Expo, celebrating the rich culture, heritage, and natural beauty of the Zambezi Region!

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, local businesses, and organizations while sharing more about Children of Zion and the work we do in our community.

We are grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to build new relationships. We look forward to growing together, serving together, and partnering with our community to build hope and change lives. ❤️

💛 What does hope look like?

Sometimes, hope looks like two little smiles standing in a garden. 🌱😊

It looks like children learning where their food comes from, watching something grow, and discovering that even small seeds can produce something beautiful.

After a challenging season, we are reminded that God is still growing something good. He is providing, He is making a way, and He is giving us reasons to keep believing.

For the children of Zion, hope looks like full plates, growing gardens, bright futures, and knowing they are loved. 💛

"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy." — Psalm 126:5

❤️🎉 Happy Birthday, Uncle Austin! 🎉❤️

Today, we celebrate a very special person—not just our Operating Director, but someone who has become a father to the Children of Zion children.

Uncle Austin, your love for these children is seen in so many ways. It’s in the everyday moments, the encouragement you give, the way you show up when things are difficult, and the countless things you do behind the scenes that most people will never see.

This past year has brought challenges that none of us could have imagined, but you have continued to serve, lead, and care for the children through it all. We are incredibly grateful for your faithfulness and for the heart you have for this ministry.

The children are blessed to have you—and we are blessed to have you. ❤️

On your birthday, we pray that God reminds you of just how much your life and your service matter. May He give you strength for each new day, joy in the work He has called you to, and many reasons to smile in the year ahead.

❤️ Thank You, Searich Investments (Pty) Ltd!

Sometimes, something as simple as a good night’s sleep can make a world of difference.

We are incredibly grateful to Searich Investments (Pty) Ltd for their generous donation of mattresses to the children of Children of Zion Village. This thoughtful gift is providing our children with something every child deserves—a safe, comfortable place to rest and call their own. ❤️

But this donation represents something even bigger.
It reminds us of the incredible impact that can happen when a community comes together to care for its children. When businesses, organizations, churches, families, and individuals choose to get involved, their generosity becomes part of something much greater than themselves.

The children may see new mattresses, but we see love, compassion, and a community saying, “These children matter.”

To the entire team at Searich Investments, thank you for seeing a need and choosing to help meet it. Your kindness is making a very real difference in the lives of our children, and we are so grateful.

Send a hug. Send love. Send hope. ❤️

Jesus calls us to love one another—and sometimes that love looks like a hug, a listening ear, a warm meal, a safe place to sleep, or simply reminding a child that they are not forgotten.

At Children of Zion, we believe every child is created in the image of God and deserves to know that they are deeply loved. Through the care we provide, we have the privilege of showing Christ’s love to vulnerable children in Namibia and helping them find hope for their future.

Your support helps us share God’s love in tangible ways. 🙏🏽❤️
