😏🔥 HIPPO CHARGE 2026 | SAVE THE DATE – 1 AUGUST 2026 🔥😏

This year… we’ve decided to shake things up a bit.

Hippo Charge 2026 is going a little more rugged — fewer frills, more dust, and a brand-new camp with a whole new vibe. Think less “luxury retreat” and more “proper adventure”… but don’t worry, it’s all part of the fun.

For our chargers: the terrain is getting tougher (we heard you like a challenge 😉). That just means you’ve got plenty of time to practice, prep, and maybe argue about tyre pressure a bit more than usual.

New camp. New feel. New stories loading.
Same legendary Hippo Charge — and yes, it’ll absolutely be worth it.

🌿 Happy New Year from Hippo Charge Mozambique 🌿

As we welcome a new year, we want to pause and say thank you to our amazing chargers, supporters, and contributors. Your support over the past year has helped turn intention into action — and these photos tell that story better than words ever could.

Through your contributions, we were proud to support the work of Associação NATURA in the Macossa–Tambara Ecosystem, where conservation goes hand in hand with community strength, human-wildlife coexistence, and the protection of some of Mozambique’s most vulnerable species. From empowering local communities to safeguarding wildlife on the ground, your impact is real and lasting.

Every charge matters. Every supporter counts. And together, we’re helping build a future where people and nature thrive side by side.

Here’s to a new year filled with purpose, collaboration, and positive change. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 💚

Seed distribution. Hippo Charge local community support for 2025/26 crop season close to 2026 charge location. Enough hybrid high yielding Mozambique locally bred seed from Phoenix seeds for over 100ha, enough to sustain food wise and give additional income to many local families, as well as deter income from cutting trees and selling wood or charcoal. Thank you HC volunteers and especially ongoing support of Phoenix seeds Mozambique Lda.

🏆 BEST CHECKPOINT 2025 – JACHRIS! 🎉

Third time’s a charm! After narrowly missing out by just one point in both 2023 and 2024, Jachris has finally taken home the Best Checkpoint Trophy – and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Their commitment and support since 2023 has never gone unnoticed, and this year they truly outdid themselves:
