Our RCMM fellowship during the visit of our District 9400 Governor, Grace Van Zyl, was truly an honour and a memorable occasion.

We were delighted to welcome our District Governor, celebrate fellowship, strengthen our bonds as Rotarians, and proudly induct our new members into the Rotary family.

It was a wonderful evening of friendship, service, leadership, and renewed commitment to making a lasting impact in our communities.

Who are we beneath?

This week, we visited Khongolote Basic School with our District Governor, Grace. We are grateful for her presence, encouragement, and continued leadership.

Khongolote is a project very close to our hearts, built around four phases to create a more sustainable and supportive environment for the school and its community.

Phase I — Water 💧

We are proud to have completed the borehole project, providing a reliable water source to a community of more than 4,000 students.

A borehole is more than water. It means better hygiene, dignity, a healthier environment, and better conditions for children to learn.

Phases II, III and IV will build on this foundation through improved infrastructure, stronger learning conditions and long-term sustainability.

None of this happens alone. A heartfelt thank you to our partners, supporters and everyone who made Phase I possible. The door remains open to anyone who would like to contribute to the next phases.

A special thank you to President Ken for his leadership and commitment, and to District Governor Grace for sharing this special morning with us.

Beyond his professional career, Noel is passionate about youth development, education and entrepreneurship. He enjoys playing basketball, cycling and maintaining an active lifestyle, while woodworking allows him to explore his creative and practical side. A committed family man, Noel believes in leadership through service, collaboration and creating lasting positive impact in the community.

I’m *Dário Nhacassane*, a Mozambican electrical engineer with over *15 years of experience across the energy value chain*, spanning upstream, downstream, electricity and mining.

I currently serve as *Country Manager for Siemens Energy in Mozambique* and *Sales Manager supporting Gas-to-Power initiatives across Southern and Eastern Africa.* I also serve as a *Board Member of the Electrotechnical Engineering College of the Order of Engineers of Mozambique (OrdEM)* and *President of the Mozambican Association of Electrical Engineers (AMELEC).*

Beyond my professional career, I am passionate about *energy, agriculture and development*, and about using engineering, business and leadership to create sustainable opportunities for people and communities.

I am a *Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Maputo Metro*, currently serving on the *Rotary Foundation Committee*. As a Senior Banker, I work closely with businesses and institutions across key sectors of the economy, helping clients navigate challenges, structure opportunities, and build sustainable, long-term partnerships.☀️

Beyond banking, my involvement in Rotary and philanthropy has strengthened a deeply held belief that true leadership is ultimately about service.
