A day full of smiles, energy, and tradition 🤍
Yara together with the FPDP team, spent the day with local communities to experience and learn about traditional games that are part of Palma’s identity.
More than just fun moments, it was a day of connection, sharing, and learning, where different generations come together to keep their traditions alive.
Because true development also means valuing culture and people 🌿

A Yara juntamente com a equipa da FPDP, passou o dia com as comunidades locais para conhecer e vivenciar os jogos tradicionais que fazem parte da identidade de Palma.
Mais do que momentos de diversão, foram momentos de conexão, partilha e aprendizagem ,onde diferentes gerações se juntam para manter vivas as suas raízes.

Behind every bottle of POA water is a local team making things happen. 💧
Created by FPDP, POA was developed to supply projects, support the community kiosk, and most importantly, create jobs and real opportunities for the people of Palma.
Built on teamwork, a positive working environment, and shared purpose, this is a team that grows together while contributing every day to local development.
More than water, POA is about people, commitment, and the future.

Por trás de cada garrafa de água POA está uma equipa local que faz acontecer. 💧
Criada pela FPDP, a POA foi desenvolvida para abastecer projetos, apoiar o quiosque comunitário e acima de tudo, criar postos de trabalho e oportunidades reais para a população de Palma.
Assente no trabalho em equipa, num ambiente positivo e num propósito comum, esta é uma equipa que cresce em conjunto e contribui diariamente para o desenvolvimento local.

Oportunidades não devem ser um privilégio, deve ser um direito.

Em Palma, Cabo Delgado, reconstruir vidas vai muito além da infraestrutura. Significa criar oportunidades reais para que as pessoas possam trabalhar, gerar rendimento e recuperar a estabilidade. Quando os meios de subsistência desaparecem, a vulnerabilidade aumenta e, na ausência de alternativas, forças negativas aproveitam esse vazio.

É por isso que a FPDP se foca em criar soluções reais e práticas através do cultivo de bambu e da produção comunitária, dando às pessoas as ferramentas e competências para construírem um futuro sustentável. Isto não é sobre ajuda pontual, é sobre impacto a longo prazo, onde cada emprego criado ajuda a reduzir a instabilidade e a fortalecer comunidades inteiras. Apoiar meios de subsistência é apoiar a estabilidade e criar um futuro em que as pessoas possam confiar. 🌍
