🌍 World Cleanup Day at Chipangara Community – Beira, Mozambique 🌍
This past Saturday, our community came together for something truly powerful.
After heavy rains forced us to postpone our original cleanup, we didn't give up. We waited. We watched the weather. And when the skies finally cleared, we showed up.
Chipangara Community, Beira – you were incredible.
Neighbours, youth, women, local leaders – we stood side by side, not just to pick up waste, but to send a message: our environment matters. Our health matters. Our future matters.
We collected plastic, cleared pathways, and reminded ourselves that change doesn't start in a boardroom. It starts right here, on our streets, in our neighbourhoods, with our own hands.
This was part of a global movement – 517,000 people in 38 countries – all taking action for cleaner rivers and a cleaner planet. And we are proud that Mozambique was part of it.
To everyone who joined, who supported, who cheered us on: thank you.
This is not the end. It's just the beginning. Let's keep our community clean, not just today, but every day.
🌱 Together for cleaner rivers. Together for a cleaner Beira.
