On October 14, 2011, a program named 'We Anak 1Malaysia' that involves former trainees from the National Services was held at Bukit Jalil Hockey Stadium, Attended by 15 thousand Alumni NS, the program was inaugurated by the Prime Minister. During the program, the Prime Minister has suggested that the National Service Volunteer Brigade (BSKN) was established to carry on the work of volunteers in th

e Community. Apart from that, the establishment of BSKN also hopefully can help expand access NS objectives especially regarding racial unity and the spirit of volunteerism. According to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Defence had launched BSKN on February 4, 2012 in Padang Awam Bandar Dara Chini, Pahang, enhanced by the Prime Minister itself and was attended by Chief Minister of Pahang, the Minister of Defence, Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Defence the Chief of Armed Forces and society around Dara Chini. Around 10,000 people attended the launching ceremony of BSKN including 3,000 former trainees from 65 NS Camp in Peninsular Malaysia. The name of BSKN is selected personally by the Prime Minister itself and is the right selection as alumni NS have been reached to the figure of 600 thousand members. The establishment of BSKN also can free broaden the reach of the objectives of development of human capital not only at the stage of teenagers who undergo training NS but the also for the former NS that has grown up and still want to contribute services to the society.
