Wishing all our beloved Mummy a Blessed Mother’s Day!
There’s something beautiful about the way Proverbs 31:25–26 describes a godly woman. “She is clothed with strength and dignity.” Notice that strength is not only physical strength, but inner strength, the kind that comes from trusting God through every season of life. A mother often carries burdens silently, prays faithfully behind the scenes, and continues loving even when tired. God sees every sacrifice, every prayer, and every act of care.
The verse also says, “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Words have the power to shape lives. Many of us can remember encouraging words, prayers, and lessons from our mothers that stayed with us for years. A godly mother reflects the heart of Christ through the way she speaks, serves, and loves.
Mother’s Day is not only about celebration, but also gratitude. It is a reminder to honor the women who have guided us, prayed for us, and stood beside us through life’s challenges. Whether a mother by birth, adoption, or spiritual influence, their love leaves a lasting impact.
Today, take time to thank God for the mothers and mother figures in your life. Pray for them, encourage them, and remind them that their labor in love is never unseen by God.
