It’s amazing to see the wide variety of vegetables grown at Hostel Sunflower! From cabbage, long beans, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes to sayur manis, cucumbers, chillies, cucumber, brinjals, beans and pak choy — they have it all 🌱
Everything is lovingly planted and carefully nurtured, and it truly shows. Well done to the wardens and students for their dedication and hard work. Keep it up! 💚

A big thank you to Team MGC from Miri Gospel Church for making the long 12-hour journey to spend the weekend with our students at Hostel Jasmine, Hostel Lily, and Hostel Marigold 💛

The 34-member team — made up of families, youths, pastors, and even an inspiring 11-year-old — brought with them so much love, energy, and encouragement. Through meaningful lessons on leadership, self-confidence, love, and compassion, as well as fun activities, songs, and delicious home-cooked meals, they created a truly special experience for everyone.

It was a joyful and impactful weekend, and the memories made will last a long time. Thank you, Team MGC, for a truly fruitful camp!

Team GBC tutors visited Hostel Sunflower for a fun and meaningful Education Camp last weekend. After months of supporting the students through online lessons in English Science and Maths, it was great to meet face to face again. There were many exciting games, quizzes, maths and science games that challenged and inspired the students. The sessions gave the tutors and students a chance to connect on a deeper level while learning together. Thank you team GBC for your dedication, time and heart in supporting our students.
