On 6 December, the Rotary Club of Temerloh, together with the Interact Club of SMJK Hwa Lian, arranged three buses from three Chinese primary schools in the district for a one-day educational visit to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre. The programme was organised to provide students with an enriching, fun, and educational experience.

Educational Visit to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary

The Rotary Club of Temerloh, together with our Interact Club, successfully organized a meaningful educational trip to Kuala Gandah. This event involved enthusiastic participation from SJKC Mentakab (1 & 2) and SJKC Khee Chee, with a total of 96 students and 5 dedicated teachers.

Through this visit, students had the opportunity to explore and understand elephant habitats, learn about the ecosystem, and develop a deeper sense of environmental and natural awareness. It was truly inspiring to see young minds grow through hands-on learning and direct interaction with nature.

A big thank you to the schools, teachers, and students for joining us, and to our Interactors for their support and teamwork. Together, we continue nurturing knowledge, compassion, and responsibility for the world around us. 🌍💚

🤝 Supporting Typhoon Victims in the Philippines
Rotary Club of Temerloh x Rotary Club Amazing Manila

The Rotary Club of Temerloh is humbled to have joined a meaningful donation event to support typhoon victims in the Philippines. Together with our sister club, the Rotary Club of Amazing Manila, we combined efforts to bring relief, hope, and compassion to those affected.

🌸 Breastfeeding Fun Walk 2025 – Together We Support, Together We Grow! 🌸

On 2nd August 2025, the Rotary Club of Temerloh was honoured to collaborate with Hospital Temerloh for the Breastfeeding Fun Walk 2025, an awareness campaign dedicated to promoting the importance of breastfeeding for healthier families and stronger communities.

With this year’s slogan, “Support Breastfeeding: Strengthen Families and Community,” the event gathered parents, healthcare professionals, and community members for a meaningful walk filled with learning, encouragement, and unity.

We are proud to share that the event was a great success!
From educational booths to family-friendly activities, every moment reflected our shared commitment to nurturing healthier beginnings for children and empowering parents with the knowledge and support they need.

A heartfelt thank you to Hospital Temerloh, all participants, volunteers, Rotarians, and supporters who made this initiative impactful. Together, we continue to uplift and serve our community.

In Loving Memory of Past President & Past Asistant Governer Lew Soo Yong, PJK

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved PP & PAG Lew Soo Yong, PJK, who served the Rotary Club of Temerloh with dedication, compassion, and true Rotary spirit.

PP & PAG Lew was not only a committed Rotarian but also a dear friend, mentor, and leader who inspired many through his service and humility. His contributions to Rotary and the community will always be remembered.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
