Flood Appreciation Ceremony | SK Changkat Jong, Teluk Intan

Rewind to the end of 2025, when severe floods impacted many communities across Teluk Intan.

Through the Flood Relief Donation Drive initiated by JCI Kinta , together with JCI Teluk Intan and JCI Taiping 太平国际青年商会 , part of the funds raised were channelled to SK Changkat Jong. The contribution provided new school T-shirts for students affected by the floods, giving them a fresh start as they began the 2026 school term.

On 6 July 2026, JCI Teluk Intan was honoured to attend the school’s Appreciation Ceremony, representing everyone who contributed to this meaningful initiative.

A heartfelt thank you to SK Changkat Jong for the warm hospitality and recognition.

2026 JCI ASPAC, Niigata 🇯🇵

Honoured to have our Local President Swee Wan , alongside Past President KkSing Teh & Strawberry , representing JCI Teluk Intan among 200+ JCI Malaysia delegates at 2026 JCI ASPAC, held from 11–14 June 2026 in Niigata 🇯🇵✨

This inspiring 4D3N journey was filled with learning, meaningful connections, and cultural exchange with young active citizens from across the Asia-Pacific region, while strengthening ties with leaders including the 2026 JCI World President, National Presidents, and Past World Presidents.

Special thanks to Junior Chamber International Malaysia Area North for the opportunity for us to represent the area during the Malaysia Night performance, also the first experience wearing the traditional Kelantanese Mak Yong costume💃🏻✨

Heartfelt appreciation to JCI KOTA BHARU for bringing the costume to 🇯🇵, allowing us to proudly showcase Malaysia’s rich heritage on the international stage.
