The Rotary Club of Tanjung Bungah celebrated Chinese New Year 2026 with a joyful gathering on 1 March 2026. Rotarians from other clubs, former Rotarians, spouses, and family members joined us for this special occasion, making it a warm and meaningful reunion of fellowship.
The celebration was filled with laughter, friendship, and festive spirit. Together we performed the traditional Yee Sang toss, symbolizing prosperity, good health, happiness, and success for the new Lunar New Year.
It was truly a wonderful and successful celebration, strengthening the bonds of Rotary friendship and welcoming the year ahead with optimism and unity.

In January 2026, the Rotary Club of Tanjong Bungah was delighted to carry out our Bag2School Project, donating a total of 120 school bags to children from three deserving institutions:
1️⃣ SJKC Poay Wah
2️⃣ SK Tanjung Bungah
3️⃣ Persatuan Kebajikan Altruisme Pulau Pinang (SelflessTogether).

This meaningful initiative was made possible with the kind support of Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia. This project bring smiles and encouragement to these young students.
Seeing the children’s joyful faces as they received their new school bags was truly heart-warming and reminded us of the impact small acts of kindness can make in a child’s educational journey.
Thank you to PP Ang Soon Gin and everyone who supported and made this project a success. Together, we continue to Unite for Good and make a difference in our community. 💙✨

Attended Malam Yayasan celebrating 40 years of doing good in Malaysia. Rotarians in Malaysia from District 3300 & 3310 get together enjoying the evening with great fellowship.

Rotary Club of Tanjong Bungah, Rotaract Club of Tanjong Bungah & Rotaract Club Sentral College jointly support the Mental Awareness Walkathon organised by Klinik Kesihatan Tanjung Bungah. Besides Walkathon there will be children's colouring contest, Poster competition, Health talk and Fitness session.
