【 案件编号 50｜当一个孩子还在求学，父亲却同时面对失明与照顾年迈母亲的重担】
有时候，生活的困难，并不是一次发生一件。
而是当一个问题还来不及解决，另一个问题又接踵而来。
这一次，VCare Welfare Malaysia 接触到的是 张文平先生（Mr. Teoh Boon Peng）。
张先生目前与年迈的母亲以及正在求学的女儿一起生活，一家三口。
去年，张先生的母亲赖明珠女士突然中风。
由于母亲年事已高，中风后需要日常照顾，张先生便承担起照顾母亲的责任。
然而，在照顾母亲的同时，他自己的身体也出现了健康问题 ，让这个家庭的生活变得更加艰难。
根据医生的医疗资料，张先生本身有高血压及血脂异常（Dyslipidemia），同时也长期出现右下肢不适、疼痛以及麻痹、刺痛的情况。
更令人担心的是，他曾经出现右眼突然失去视力的情况。
医疗转介资料显示，张先生当时右眼突然出现视力下降，检查时右眼目前只能感受到光线，而左眼视力为 6/12。医生初步怀疑可能涉及视网膜脱离（Retinal Detachment），因此需要进一步接受眼科检查及跟进。
当一个人需要照顾母亲，而自己又同时面对脚部不适以及严重的视力问题时，想要继续工作，已经变得非常困难。
如今，张先生也因为身体状况而无法正常工作。
而家中还有一名女儿正在求学。
目前，这个家庭主要依靠每月约 RM500 的援助金来维持基本生活。
母亲的日常照顾、女儿的求学需要，以及一家三口的基本生活开销，都成为这个家庭沉重的负担。
💔 对于一个已经无法正常工作的家庭来说，每个月仅靠有限的援助金生活，面对这些持续不断的开销，确实非常不容易。
他们并没有要求很多。
只是希望，在生活最困难的时候，能够得到一些帮助，让一家人能够继续维持基本生活。
因此，VCare Welfare Malaysia 将为该家庭筹备RM8400(一年)，希望能够为张先生一家提供生活上的援助，暂时减轻他们目前所面对的经济压力。

【 Case No. 50｜A Child Still in School, While His Father Faces Vision Loss and the Burden of Caring for His Elderly Mother】
Sometimes, life’s difficulties do not come one at a time.
Just when one problem has yet to be resolved, another comes along.
This time, VCare Welfare Malaysia came into contact with Mr. Teoh Boon Peng.
Mr. Teoh currently lives with his elderly mother and his daughter, who is still in school, making a family of three.
Last year, Mr. Teoh’s mother, Ms. Lai Beng Chew, suddenly suffered a stroke.
As his mother is elderly and requires daily care after her stroke, Mr. Teoh has taken on the responsibility of caring for her.
However, while caring for his mother, he is also facing health problems of his own, making life even more difficult for the family.
According to the doctor’s medical records, Mr. Teoh has high blood pressure and dyslipidemia, and has also been experiencing discomfort, pain, numbness and tingling in his right lower limb.
More concerningly, he suddenly experienced loss of vision in his right eye.
According to the medical referral records, Mr. Teoh experienced a sudden decrease in vision in his right eye. At the time of examination, his right eye could only perceive light, while the vision in his left eye was 6/12. The doctor suspected that it may involve retinal detachment (Retinal Detachment), and further ophthalmology examination and follow-up are required.
When someone needs to care for his mother while also dealing with leg discomfort and serious vision problems, continuing to work has become extremely difficult.
Mr. Teoh is now unable to work normally due to his health condition.
At the same time, his daughter is still pursuing her education.
Currently, the family mainly relies on approximately RM500 in monthly assistance to maintain their basic living needs.
His mother’s daily care, his daughter’s education, and the basic living expenses of a family of three have all become a heavy burden for the family.
💔 For a family that is already unable to work normally, relying on limited monthly assistance to cope with ongoing expenses is truly not easy.
They are not asking for much.
They simply hope that during this difficult time, they can receive some help to allow the family to continue maintaining their basic living needs.
Therefore, VCare Welfare Malaysia will be raising RM8400 (one year) for this family, hoping to provide Mr. Teoh and his family with assistance for their daily living expenses and temporarily ease the financial pressure they are currently facing.

✅ Basic household living expenses
✅ Mother’s daily living and care needs
✅ Basic expenses for the daughter’s education
✅ Mr. Teoh’s basic living needs
✅ Other necessary household living expenses
RM8400 may not be enough to solve all of this family’s problems,
