๐Ÿšจ URGENT: Please Drive Safely โ€“ A Kittenโ€™s Life Hangs in the Balance ๐Ÿšจ

This morning, a young kitten was found badly injured, hiding under a car at the T-junction of Elitis Anggun Sari & Elitis Lamar Hijau/ Elitis Serambi Mera. One of our TNRM Valencia team members discovered him just in time. Sadly, it appears he was hit by a car.

๐Ÿ’” His injuries are severe:
- A shattered hind leg (right)
- Diaphragmatic hernia (internal organs were with blunt trauma pressed into the chest)

His overall condition is critical.

We donโ€™t know if he will survive โ€“ but we are doing everything we can.

Weโ€™ve named him Hercules, after the Greek god known for his strength and endurance โ€” because this little fighter will need all the strength in the world to pull through this.

Despite the uncertainty and the cost, we took him in without hesitation, as we do with every cat in need. He is now receiving emergency veterinary care and will have surgery once he is stable.

This tragic situation is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of safe and responsible driving in our village. Itโ€™s not just cats who are at risk โ€“ we have children, pets, and pedestrians who could be harmed by drivers going too fast or not paying attention.

๐Ÿพ Who we are
We are TNRM Valencia โ€“ a local volunteer group that cares for the stray cat population in the most humane and responsible way. All of us are residents here, some have been living here for many years, some only for a short while. But one thing unites all of us: The vision to make the life of our smallest community members better ๐Ÿˆ.

Through Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage, we:

โœ” Neuter and vaccinate stray cats
โœ” Monitor and feed the local colony at Valencia village square
โœ” Treat injuries and illnesses

But we cannot do it alone.

๐Ÿ™ How you can help
If you are able to contribute โ€“ no matter how small โ€“ it will help cover the vet bills for this little one and support our ongoing rescue and care work. The costs for his treatment are currently estimated at RM5,890.00. The quotation is attached for your reference.

๐Ÿ“ฉ Please donate directly to Kota Damansara Vet where he is currently treated. It is important to use the reference โ€˜Herculesโ€™ so that they can allocate the funds to his bill accordingly. Please share the payment slip with us as a comment under this post or via private message to our account, for our tracking purposes.

We will keep everyone updated about his development and about the donation progress. Once the target is reached, we will inform asap. If then there should be any excess amount it will be used for our other cases (currently we have about 40 cats in our care).

๐Ÿš— Please โ€“ drive slowly and carefully through Valencia.
Thank you for standing with us, for the cats, and for making Valencia a safer and more compassionate place for all living beings.

A community initiative, is to trap, neuter and release the cat back to its natural environment. While at the vet, this handsome black cat, whom I have named Bayu, was dewormed, deflead, vaccinated and castrated.
