Dear Patriots,
On the eve of our 68th Independence Day, I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a Very Happy Merdeka Day. Wherever you may be I hope you and your family will take the opportunity of this auspicious day to take time off tomorrow to join other Malaysians in celebrating our Independence Day.
The year 2025 has in fact been a relatively good year for all Malaysians as we have been able to enjoy the benefits of a stable Government, a decent economic growth, freedom of travel, freedom of speech, our Ringgit remains intact and our unemployment rate is relatively low.
However, the year 2025 had also been mired by some uncalled for remarks, utterances and incidences that threatened to distablelise the peace and harmony of our beloved country. These unwarranted intimidating outbursts were attempts to devide us. I am happy that most Malaysians had stood fast to these degrading remarks because we strongly believe in "UNITY IN DIVERSITY". So please fly your Jalur Gemilang high and with great pride tomorrow to show our love for our beloved country Malaysia.
