We are pleased to invite STEM organisations, educators, schools, teachers, parents and STEM enthusiasts to join us for the Soft Launch of STEM Fest 2026.

Now in its 9th consecutive year, STEM Fest continues its mission of bringing together students, educators, families, STEM organisations, universities and industry to experience STEM through hands-on learning, exploration and discovery.

This year, we are honoured to collaborate with PKNS for STEM Fest 2026, happening on 28–29 November at SACC Mall, Shah Alam.

At the Soft Launch, get a first look at what’s coming to STEM Fest 2026, including:

🤖⚡️ THAT’S A WRAP — PKNS ROBOTICS COMPETITION 2026! ⚡️🤖

What an incredible two days at SACC Mall, Shah Alam! 🏆

On 15–16 August 2026, 44 young roboticists from 8 schools across Selangor, forming 11 teams, came together for two days of designing, building, coding, and battling it out in the arena!

From creating their own unique robot designs with the help of 3D printing, to programming extra features with Arduino, every team brought their own creativity, strategy, and engineering skills to the competition. 🔧💻

And when it was time to enter the arena… things got SERIOUS. ⚽️🤖🔥 The students showed incredible determination and fighting spirit as they put their robots to the test!

🏆 Congratulations to our champions, SMK La Salle PJ, taking home RM1,000!

🥈 SMK Seksyen 9 secured 2nd place with RM500, with a point difference of less than 0.5 points! Talk about a close finish! 😮‍💨

A huge THANK YOU to PKNS, all the teachers, and every single student who participated and made this event such an energetic and memorable experience. ❤️

Your enthusiasm, creativity, and determination are exactly what makes STEM so exciting. We hope this is only the beginning of your robotics journey! 🚀

WE’RE ALL SET FOR THE PKNS ROBOTICS CHALLENGE 2026

This weekend, SACC Mall, Shah Alam comes alive with robotics, creativity and hands-on STEM!

12 teams will take on the challenge to design, build and compete with their very own Soccer Robots, putting their creativity, engineering skills, teamwork and strategy to the test.

Come watch the action, cheer on our young innovators and be inspired by STEM in action.

A New Space Journey Begins at STEM 4 ALL Makerspace

We were honoured to welcome Captain Faiz Kamaludin, an accomplished Boeing 777 pilot, former National Astronaut Programme candidate, and founder of AstroX (Astronautical Association of Malaysia) to STEM 4 ALL Makerspace. His visit provided an inspiring opportunity to exchange ideas on STEM, space education and the future of our young people.

With more than 77,000 young people reached through his STEM and space initiatives, Capt. Faiz brings a wealth of experience and a powerful vision as an ecosystem builder, connecting people, expertise and opportunities to create greater impact.

And now, something exciting is taking shape — MISSION MARS is coming.

Led by Sam Gibbs, Mission Mars brings astronomy, space science, exploration, creativity and problem-solving together in an exciting hands-on learning experience. Soon to be launched at a school, we are looking at taking Mission Mars to more schools and more young explorers.

STEM 4 ALL Makerspace, AstroX and our strategic partners will come together to launch Mission Mars at schools. This will be followed by the celebration of World Space Week, 4–10 October, through a series of talks, workshops and activities exploring astronomy, space, space technology, and future education and career pathways.

Inspiring Projective Geometry Masterclass – Leaf Form with Sophia Montefiore

We were honoured to host renowned Waldorf educator, artist and author Sophia Montefiore for a unique Projective Geometry Masterclass – Leaf Form at STEM 4 ALL Makerspace.

Our STEM educators explored the beautiful relationship between mathematics, geometry, art and nature through a hands-on learning experience that combined precision, observation and creativity.

Using geometric constructions, participants discovered the fascinating world of projective geometry, creating intricate dodecahedrons, organic leaf forms and stunning geometric artworks. The workshop encouraged participants to sharpen their observation skills, nurture their creativity, and develop a deeper appreciation for the patterns and forms found in nature.

A heartfelt thank you to Sophia Montefiore for generously sharing her passion, expertise and over 30 years of experience with our learning community. Her inspiring approach demonstrated how mathematics and art can come together to reveal the beauty and harmony of the natural world.

At STEM 4 ALL Makerspace, we believe that the most meaningful learning happens when science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts come together through experiential learning.

Projective Geometry Masterclass: Dodecahedron and Leaf Forms
With International Guest Educator Sophia Montefiore

Target Audience: Teachers, art students, STEM educators, and curious learners (Minimum age: 11)

Returning to Malaysia, internationally renowned artist, author, and educator Sophia Montefiore will conduct a unique, hands-on workshop series blending rigorous mathematics with organic artistic expression. Projective geometry is a distinct mathematical and philosophical framework that explores how geometric properties change or remain fluid under central projections.

Participants will dive into the fundamental principles of this fluid medium through precise drawing, geometric construction, and Goethean color theory. This specific session focuses heavily on mapping out complex spatial metamorphoses, teaching you how to plot structural dodecahedrons and the organic growth patterns of leaf forms.

Sophia Montefiore brings over 30 years of dedicated experience in Waldorf education and currently serves as the Senior High School Coordinator at Newcastle Waldorf School in Australia. As the author of The Art of Projective Geometry – for Waldorf Teachers, she has conducted seminars and workshops around the world, including in the UK, India, Egypt, and South Africa, inspiring educators and creatives to discover and understand nature's living patterns.
