Day 11 & 12
Sarawak Women’s Team — Tokushima Invitational Tournament 🇯🇵🏐

The Sarawak Women’s Team has moved to Tokushima to participate in an invitational tournament over the past two days.

All participating teams were university-level teams, providing our players with a valuable opportunity to compete against strong opponents and experience a higher level of play.

Sarawak Men’s Team — Day 11 🇯🇵🏐

This morning, the team played another series of matches with the same teams we competed with over the past few days. Every game is a valuable opportunity to sharpen our rhythm, communication, and game sense.

In the afternoon, we had a joint practice session with Kinki High School and Seifu High School. Training together with Japanese teams is always a great experience — their discipline, tempo, and attention to detail push our players to grow both technically and mentally. Every session here is another step forward in learning and improvement.

And yesterday, March 12, was Zerman’s birthday 🎂
The team took a moment to celebrate together.

Day 10 – Sarawak Men’s Team 🇯🇵🏐

Morning and afternoon sessions were filled with scrimmage matches as usual, giving the boys more opportunities to compete and gain experience on court.

After the afternoon matches, our team stayed back to have a joint training session with the Kindai University High School B Team.

Training together allowed our players to experience their training rhythm, discipline, and attention to detail. It was another valuable opportunity for our boys to learn from the Japanese system and continue improving.

Step by step, every session adds more experience and understanding of the game. 💪🏼🏐

Day 9 – Sarawak Men’s Team 🇯🇵🏐

Today the team had matches in both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Our boys played against:
• Osaka Ohtani University
• Kindai University High School (近畿大学附属高等学校)

Besides the matches, we also worked closely with the coaches. We coordinated with the Kindai High School coach and requested a short session where he shared some suggestions and helped demonstrate their team formation and system structure to our players.

It was a very valuable learning moment for our team to observe how they organize their system and movement on court. The coach was very supportive and willing to share his knowledge with us.

We truly appreciate the openness and cooperation from the Japanese coaches. Opportunities like this help our players not only compete, but also understand different systems and ways of playing the game.

Day 8 – Evening Session 🇯🇵🏐
Sarawak Women’s Team

📍 Location: Osaka Shin-ai Gakuin High School

This afternoon our team had friendly matches with two Japanese schools. Before the matches started, everyone warmed up together and shared the court for some rally sessions, creating a great atmosphere for learning and competition.

Match Results:
Set 1 – 18 : 25 vs Osaka Kenmei Gakuin High School
Set 2 – 25 : 23 vs Osaka Shin-ai Gakuin High School
Set 3 – 15 : 25 vs Osaka Kenmei Gakuin High School

Playing against Japanese school teams is always a valuable experience. Their discipline, speed, and strong fighting spirit push our girls to compete harder and learn more from every rally.

Volleyball is more than just a sport. Even though we come from different countries and speak different languages, once we step onto the court we share the same passion for the game.

Volleyball connects us internationally and builds friendships beyond borders.

Thank you Osaka Kenmei Gakuin High School and Osaka Shin-ai Gakuin High School for the great matches and warm hospitality.
