The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness. This has been the Object of the Movement since 1893. The original Object did not include the word "Obedience. The Logo & Motto

"Sure and Stedfast." Derived from Chapter 6, verse 19 of the Book of Hebrews,
"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast".
