Last week, a forest fire that broke out near Muhibbah Klang bridge at Teluk Gong persisted for more than 7 days. Our firefighters were anticipated to be stationed there for at least 2 weeks to help control the spread.

Thankfully, our fellow bomba already had some stock of at hand to fuel them as they fought to put out the raging fires. In saying this, we would like to wholeheartedly thank GLC / GLIC Demi Rakyat & Negara - GDRN and CIMB Foundation for helping fund this endeavour so that our front liners can carry on their disaster relief without worrying about their next meal in the field.

In times like these, it is kindness and consistency that truly make a difference.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Perlis Plantation Berhad (PPB Group) for their generous commitment to supporting 50 families in the Kota Kemuning area for three consecutive months.

Through this initiative, each family will receive essential food items including:

Rice (5kg)
Cooking oil (5kg)
Flour (1kg)
Sardines (1 can)
Baked beans (1 can)

These are not just groceries — they are relief, reassurance, and dignity for families who need it most.

Your continued support means that for the next few months, these households can worry a little less about putting food on the table, and focus more on rebuilding, caring for their loved ones, and moving forward.
