📣 CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
IE²C Innovation Challenge 2026
In conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Innovation, Ethics & Emerging Technologies in Engineering and Computing Education (IE2C 2026).
The IE²C Innovation Challenge 2026 invites students, educators, professionals, researchers, and innovators worldwide to showcase innovative ideas that combine technology, ethics, and real-world impact.
🔍 COMPETITION TRACKS
Participants may submit their innovations under one of the following three tracks:
🔬 Science & Technology
-Application-driven solutions leveraging engineering, computing, artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, embedded systems, and emerging technologies to address real-world challenges.
🌍 Science & Society
-Innovations examining societal, behavioural, ethical, policy, and human-centred dimensions of science and technology, including responsible AI, sustainability, inclusivity, and social impact.
📚 Innovation in Teaching & Learning
-Novel, ethical, and inclusive approaches that enhance how education is designed, delivered, and experienced across schools, higher education, and lifelong learning.
👥 ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
The competition is open to local and international teams in the following categories:
1. School – Primary and Secondary Students
2. Higher Education – College and University Students
3. Professionals—Lecturers, Teachers, Industry Practitioners, NGOs, Researchers
đź—‚ SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Participants are required to submit:
1. Extended Abstract – A concise summary of the innovation idea
2. Innovation Video – A short presentation showcasing the project and its impact
**All submissions must be in English.
