[Update in 2026 July]
The students in 2025 who sat for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysian have all passed. Bah Dafi has and excellent results scoring 4 As and Bs in other subjects. He received an award being the best student in the Orang Asli community in his school. He has applied for matriculation to enter University as well UPU.
While the other students; Aron, Ijat, Mieya, Daniel and Yan have also applied UPU. They will be given courses to further their studies in colleges / polytechnic according to their results. The placement is known in Jun/Jul.
Salpina is another student who has finished her course in Diploma in Pharmacy. She is doing a 6 months internship in University Kebangsaan Hospital (KL)

Promise Home was started on 6th January 2011 as a non-profit Christian voluntary organization by Iris kim. This Home was established to help underprivileged Orang Asli children by providing them opportunity of education. It was approved by the “Pertubuhan Rumah Anak Yatim Kristian Selangor (5867/96)” on 15th January 2011.
The children staying in this Home are not orphans but most of them had never been to school because their families are very poor. In year 2026 the Home have 30 students with ages ranging from 8 to 19 years old and three Asli workers. These students are from 4 different villages around Slim River.
The Home was set up so that the students can receive proper education guidance in a more conducive environment. When the children first came to Promise Home, they could only recognize some alphabets and numbers. Some have never held a pencil before and don’t even know how to write their names.
At this Home, the children learn Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics and English daily through volunteer teachers. With proper guidance in education and hygiene practice, the children are now able to read and write. The children were poor in health due to lack of nutrition in their diets. Some of the children came with skin diseases and also lung problem. But they are clean and tidy now after we give proper health care.
The children have progressed well in their education as they could now read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English and as well as mathematics and science.
Initially sometime end of 2011 and 2012 Promise Home has also apply to the Orang Asli Department as well as Education Department for approval to admit these children to study in the government primary school in Kota Kemuning as they are ready to catch with their schooling formally after having tutored by teachers for 2 years.
From year 2013 till now year 2026, all students are attending government school in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kota Kemuning and Sekolah Menengah Kota Kemuning.
Current expenditure for the Home is RM20,000 monthly inclusive of educational fees, worker wages, school transport fee, utilities, house maintenance like repairs costs and eceteras.
