As we come to the end of an incredibly challenging year, I just want to say thank you to our amazing staff, students, and families.

This year saw us move across three different locations, and through every change you showed patience, resilience, and unwavering support. It hasn’t been easy, but together we made it work.

To our staff, thank you for your dedication, flexibility, and commitment to our students. To our students, you have been incredible, facing every challenge with strength and positivity. And to our parents and families, thank you for your trust, understanding, and constant support throughout it all.

I truly appreciate each and every one of you more than words can say. What we achieved together this year is something to be very proud of. ❤️

School Excursion to FRIM : What an Amazing Day!

As always, being an ADHD-er, I thrive on last minutesness. Sat down, picking my brain's out and decided we need to do some grounding. So I emailed FRIM and got quick response from them. Everything is set within 3 days! 😆

So, last Wednesday, we hopped on a bus and our students had an unforgettable learning adventure at FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia)! From conquering the famous forest Skywalk to leaening about towering trees to peaceful nature trails, it was the perfect outdoor classroom.

We were incredibly lucky to have 3 awesome tour guides who made the experience fun, educational, and engaging. They shared fascinating facts about the forest ecosystem, plants, wildlife, and conservation efforts.

A big shout-out to Pei Ling for her energy, patience, and passion. She truly made the trip extra special for all of us! 💚

I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone for recommending Arcadia Academy to new parents who are looking for a place for their children. We have a surge of enquiries that we may not be able to attend but were really appreciated.

I’ve realized that there’s still a common misconception about homeschooling. Many people think it’s only meant for children with autism, but that’s not true. The spectrum is wide, and some may have learning differences while others are simply here because their parents want something different.

In reality, a homeschool is just like any other school. It’s simply one with a more personal touch. Think of it as an international-style education at a fraction of the cost.
So, I’d like to clear this stigma once and for all: homeschooling isn’t only for children with special needs. It’s for any family seeking a learning environment that fits their child. One that’s more personal, flexible, and holistic.
