The Student Affairs Department successfully organized a 3-Day, 2-Night Camping Program for all second-year students from 17th July to 19th July 2026. The program was designed to strengthen students' personal growth, teamwork, leadership skills, and resilience while preparing them for greater responsibilities as 2nd Year students in Montfort Boys Town.
Throughout the camp, students participated in a variety of meaningful and engaging activities. One of the highlights was the Affirmation Sharing Session, where students reflected on their personal journeys, encouraged one another with positive words, and built self-confidence through meaningful conversations. This session helped foster trust, mutual respect, and emotional well-being among the students.
The Obstacle Race Activities challenged students physically and mentally. Working in teams, they completed various tasks that required communication, cooperation, problem-solving, and perseverance. These activities emphasized the importance of teamwork, leadership, discipline, and supporting one another to achieve a common goal.
Overall, the camping program was a valuable learning experience for all participants. Students learned the importance of teamwork, effective communication, leadership, responsibility, resilience, and mutual respect. The camp also strengthened the bond among second-year students and provided them with memorable experiences that will help them grow into positive role models within the Montfort community.
