We had a great meeting last nite .. I am looking forward for the next meeting ... Toastmasters' meeting especially in Shah Alam TMC .. is a stress buster. DCP points was never our targets but learning and enjoyment of learning are.

But somehow up to now, in 2 months we have 2 level 1 completion, 1 level 3 completion and 1 level 5/ path completion. and we manage to recruit 6 and possibility another 4. Not bad for a club that do not look into DCPs.

I did realize something, in SATMC, we are not pretending to be someone else, we are as we are, we left all the others hats, as father, mother, leader, chief, doctor, son, daughter ect ect at the door, and all of us come in as a toastmaster, What happen inside the room stay in the room.. as we are in with 1 mission and 1 vision .. to learn and practices.. to be a better speaker and leader.

In SATMC, we want you to make mistakes, we want you to try, we want you to experience success and failure. Because that were part of learning. We always have that friendly bantering, especially between I and DTM Safura .. but that part of our culture ..

That is what we are and who we are .. SHAH ALAM TOASTMASTERS CLUB.

Shah Alam Toastmasters Club Meeting #673

Our May 20th meeting was nothing short of inspiring! With the theme "Shaping Tomorrow" and the word of the day "Visionary," we explored ideas that challenge the present and build the future.

Saiful Ikram Selamat, DTM, led the session as our Toastmaster of the Evening with great energy and focus, while Safura Atan, DTM, brought depth and thoughtful feedback as General Evaluator.

Our meeting on 14 May was nothing short of inspiring! With the theme "My Passion", our members and guests shared stories that were filled with heart, energy, and enthusiasm – our Word of the Day!

A huge shoutout to our Toastmaster of the Evening, Hairil Jaslan, for steering the session with poise and charisma, and to our General Evaluator, Muhammad Hassan (VC4, MS2) from IIUM Toastmasters Club, for his insightful evaluations.
