At Yayasan Hasanah, we see this same care reflected across the communities we serve — in women who nurture, protect, and hold everything together.

He is not just farming the sea. He is rebuilding what was once lost.

In Omadal, seaweed cultivation is bringing back more than income. It is restoring dignity, stability, and belief in what is possible. Once vulnerable to storms and uncertainty, the farms are now stronger, guided by science, shaped by community, and protected for the future.

What begins in the water continues on land, through drying, packaging, and selling, creating new opportunities, especially for women, to lead and grow.

This is what meaningful work looks like, sustaining livelihoods while protecting the ecosystem that sustains us all.

This Labour Day, we celebrate resilience in every harvest. 🌿 One of many stories unfolding. More to come.

Tragedi Kebakaran di Sandakan, Sabah

Kampung Bahagia musnah dijilat api dalam kebakaran besar pada 19 April 2026, sekitar 1:30 pagi — memusnahkan kira-kira 1,000 rumah di perkampungan atas air. Api merebak dengan pantas akibat struktur rumah yang rapat, binaan kayu, serta tiupan angin yang kuat.

Lebih 9,000 penduduk terjejas — ramai kehilangan tempat tinggal, harta benda, dan dokumen penting dalam sekelip mata.

Kami kekal komited untuk bekerjasama dengan pelbagai pihak bagi memastikan bantuan dapat disalurkan dengan pantas kepada mereka yang memerlukan.
