We had the privilege of joining an engagement dialogue organised by HELP University & Tamu Asia as a panelist to discuss on 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 & 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦.

It is incredibly encouraging to see the next generation so eager to drivthese conversations! The intersection of Artificial Intelligence and tourism is shaping the future of how we experience the world and how global businesses operate. The industry is undergoing a massive shift across the board.

SAFTTA was represented by our President, Dr. Fathir alongside key tourism and wellness leaders such as the President of MATTA and the President of AMSPA. Together they highlights strong collaboration across the Malaysian hospitality, travel and wellness sectors.

A heartfelt thank you to the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Dr. Karomidin Gadoev & Mrs. Sabohat Gadoeva for the kind invitation to the Reception on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan.

It was truly an honor to be part of such a memorable evening that filled with great music, wonderful food, and meaningful conversations. We had the pleasure of reconnecting with familiar faces - BUMITRA President, Dr. Wan and his team, MATTA President, Mr Nigel and his team, PAPUH President, Dato Sri Hj Razali and his team, Tabung Haji Chairman, Tan Sri Rashid Hussin, Islamic Tourism Center Director General, En Faisal, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, HE Mr. Muhammetnyyaz Mashalov and some business acquaintances, making the celebration even more special.

A powerful testament to the growing interest and partnership between our nations. SAFTTA has been actively exploring opportunities to strengthen tourism ties with Russia, and we are heartened to see this commitment reciprocated.

Thank you to HE Mr. Naiyl M. Latypov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Malaysia, Mr. Andrey Kuznetsov, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation as well as delegates from Discover Moscow lead by Ms. Maria Pasuginova for having us.

In his welcome speech, Dr Fathir shared his experience of visiting Russia and that he experienced the warmest and kindest hospitality during his time there. He also encourage all SAFTTA travel partners to consider experiencing Russia and Moscow for themselves.

Joining the SAFTTA President, DrFathir Alhadad during the event were 40 of our members, who were very excited to explore the Russian travel market.

Solidarity Association For Travel & Tours Agency Malaysia was invited to join the launching of The Umrah, Hajj International Tourism Fair at Four Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. President, DrFathir Alhadad represented SAFTTA on the occasion.

This event brought together tourism stakeholders from Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, reflecting the growing interest in travel, cultural exchange, and tourism cooperation between the two countries. Platforms such as these play an important role in facilitating industry engagement, promoting destination awareness, and encouraging greater travel exchanges between both markets.

Following recently FAM Trip organised by , C.E.O. Pn Hjh Noorul had a brief tea catch up with Ms Ekaterina, Deputy Trade Representative, Representative of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The discussion gives an opportunity to exchange views on recent tourism developments in both Malaysia and Russia especially in preparation to visa free for Malaysian, direct flight Malaysia = Russia as well as payment getaways in Russia. Not to forget some idea exchange on Muslim Friendly initiatives.

It was a simple but useful exchange on where things stand and what to look at next in celebrating the 60th anniversary of our diplomatic relations in 2027.

During our last visit to Russia recently, SAFTTA always raise the importance of visa-free for Malaysian to attract more tourists to Russia.

Seems they are listening.

Kudos to Malaysia government for the continuous effort.
