REMTC TYPE 1 – SESSION #15 SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED!

MAESCO is pleased to have successfully conducted our Registered Energy Manager Training Course (REMTC) Type 1 – Session #15, held from 7–11 September 2026.

Over the five-day programme, participants strengthened their knowledge and understanding of energy management, regulatory requirements, energy efficiency practices and the key responsibilities of a Registered Energy Manager (REM).

REMTC-T1 SESSION #14 SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

MAESCO is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Registered Energy Manager Training Course – Type 1 (REMTC-T1) Session #14, held from 17–21 August 2026 in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Throughout the 5-day training programme, participants gained essential knowledge and practical understanding of energy management, energy efficiency practices, regulatory requirements, and the roles and responsibilities of a Registered Energy Manager.

MAESCO is pleased to share that our President, Ar. Zulkifli Zahari, was invited to deliver an Energy Talk in conjunction with the Operational Excellence Week organised by Fajar Palmkel Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK).

The session was held on 19 August 2026 at Fajar Palmkel Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Selangor.

During the session, Ar. MAESCO Successfully Concludes Registered Energy Manager Training Course Type 2 (REMTC – T2)

MAESCO is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Registered Energy Manager Training Course Type 2 (REMTC – T2), held from 22–26 June 2026.

The REMTC – T2 is an advanced-level programme designed for professionals who have completed REM Type 1, focusing on thermal energy systems, advanced energy-saving measures, and specialised technical applications. The course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage complex energy systems while supporting compliance with Malaysia's energy efficiency requirements.

MAESCO Meeting with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

24 June 2026 | ST Satellite Office, Menara Z10, Putrajaya

MAESCO recently held a meeting with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) to discuss energy efficiency-related matters in line with the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

The discussion focused on exchanging views and exploring areas of collaboration to support Malaysia’s energy efficiency agenda, particularly in strengthening industry initiatives, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and advancing practical implementation efforts under the NETR framework.

MAESCO values the opportunity to engage with ST on matters that contribute to the nation’s energy transition and looks forward to continued collaboration in driving sustainable energy efficiency initiatives for Malaysia.
