MAESCO successfully conducted the Registered Energy Manager Training Course (REMTC) Type 1 – Session #11 from 18 – 22 May 2026 at PKNS BizPoint, Shah Alam with the participation of professionals from various industries.

Throughout the 5-day programme, participants were exposed to energy management principles, energy efficiency practices, regulatory requirements, and implementation approaches in line with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024. The session also included Written Test, Project Presentation, and Regulation Act Interview as part of the assessment components for REM Type 1 certification pathway.

MAESCO would like to express our sincere appreciation to all participants, trainers, panel assessors, and organising committee members for contributing to the successful completion of this programme.

MAESCO successfully conducted the Continuous Development Programme (CDP) titled Guidelines on Functions and Duties of Registered Energy Managers, a mandatory CDP topic for REM Type 1, yesterday with the participation of Registered Energy Managers and industry professionals from various sectors.

The programme focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements of Registered Energy Managers (REM) in line with the implementation of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024 and the latest guidelines by the Energy Commission.

The session also provided practical insights into compliance obligations, energy management implementation, reporting responsibilities, and the importance of continuous professional development in supporting Malaysia’s energy efficiency agenda.

REMTC Type 1 Session #10 Successfully Completed!

The Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO) is pleased to share the successful completion of the Registered Energy Manager Training Course Type 1 (REMTC T1) – Session #10, held from 13 to 17 April 2026.

Over the 5-day programme, participants were equipped with essential knowledge and practical insights in energy management in line with the requirements of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024.

Throughout the training, participants were exposed to key topics including energy management principles, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency practices, energy audit fundamentals, and the implementation of Energy Management Systems (EnMS).
