Prokasih UPM PRO-KASIH stands for "Projek Pengkasian Haiwan Terbiar" or "Stray Animal Neutering Project" organized by the students of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM

PRO-KASIH is an abbreviation for Projek Pengkasian Haiwan Terbiar or Stray Animal Neutering Project. PRO-KASIH is a non-profitable organization championed by the students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The students are facilitated by the lecturers of the faculty.

We now roughly have over 6 million stray dogs and 5 million stray cats, mostly due to uncontrolled breeding. This impacts animal welfare, public health, and community safety. 😔
