On 8 June 2026, a major earthquake with magnitude (MW) 7.8 rocked Sarangani and surrounding provinces (Southern Philippines), leaving at least 35 dead, 200 injured and infrastructure extensively damaged.

ACT Malaysia focused its effort on rehabilitating a mosque in Lake Sebu where many of ACT's activities are held. Masjid Abdulrahman Lamon in Lembuan, Poblacion, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato had its tower and roof caved in during the earthquake.

Thanks to your donations, the mosque is now being fixed and will be usable again in the near future.

An update will be posted once the rehabilitation is completed.

Tajaan Sahur dan Iftar Puasa Hari Arafah 1447H is now open. Last year, 7 orphanage centers, 3 mahad tahfiz, and 2 muallaf communities were provided with sahur and iftar, and 1,100 kilograms of rice were distributed, too, with your support.
