Highlights from the BGAM 38th Annual General Meeting! 🇬🇧🇲🇾

​Yesterday, our members gathered at Restoran Rebung Chef Ismail for a productive day of community building and strategic planning. We were deeply honored to host Tan Sri Dr. Sulaiman Mahbob, who shared a thought-provoking analysis of "The Middle East War and its Implications on the Malaysian Economy."

​A major milestone of the day was the official launch of the BGAM Tun Haniff Omar Education Fund 2026 by Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar. This appeal marks a significant step in our commitment to supporting educational excellence and providing opportunities for the next generation of scholars.

​From the formal AGM proceedings to the networking lunch, it was a pleasure seeing so many familiar faces as we chart our course for the year ahead.

🇹🇭 CHARITY DRIVE DAY 2: THAILAND, HERE WE COME! 🇹🇭

​Morning Highlights:
• ​Knowledge Exchange: We kicked off the day with a crucial meet-up with our partners, the Pengaman group, at PeSTeC, Perlis. We had a productive study visit, with all the agriculture endevour. We're looking to seeing more of their produce that we can purchase.

​The Great Crossing:
• ​Wang Kelian: The convoy officially proceeded through the Wang Kelian border, and just like that, we were in Thailand! 🤩

​The Final Push:
• ​The journey was long but rewarding! After a quick lunch stop and an evening break in the beautiful Krabi town, our determined drivers hit the final stretch.
• ​Arrival in Paradise! After approximately 8 hours of driving from the border, the whole convoy safely arrived in Phuket around 9:30 PM local time! 🌴 We made it!

​A big shout-out to all the drivers and co-pilots for the focus and endurance today.

🚨 CHARITY DRIVE DAY 1: WE ARE OFFICIALLY ROLLING! 🚨

​What an incredible start to the BGAM–Pengaman Charity Drive to Phuket! The energy was through the roof on Wednesday.

​We kicked things off with a high-spirited flag-off ceremony at PULAPOL KL 🏁, sending off our convoy of amazing members and friends!

​Road Highlights:
​Heartfelt Stop: Our first destination was Pusat Pemulihan Sultan Azlan Shah, at Yayasan Ipoh, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and had a productive, meaningful and eye-opening study tour of their inspiration and state of the art Autism Centre and more.

​Northern Bound: We wrapped up the day heading north, settling in Kangar for a well-deserved dinner. 🌙
