[RECAP HEALTH EDUCATION: STRESS AND RESILIENCE]

On 24 January 2026, the Health Education programme on Stress and Resilience was conducted online via Microsoft Teams. The session featured Puan Nurul Fatin Atirah, Senior Staff Nurse from Subang Jaya Medical Centre, who shared valuable insights on stress management and resilience. The programme also included an interactive Q&A session with students, allowing participants to engage directly and clarify their questions.

We hope this session inspires students to manage stress effectively and build resilience in their daily lives. Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to the success of this programme.

[RECAP NURSING FAMILY DAY 2025/2026]

The Nursing Family Day was held on 18 January 2026 at Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College Field, UPM. The event brought nursing students together for a sports-day-style event featuring a variety of games and activities, and provided an opportunity for students to work in teams, participate in friendly competition, and interact with one another outside the academic clinical setting. Thank you to all students who participated and contributed to the success of this event!

[RECAP NURSING CHARITY BOOTH 2025/2026]

Nursing Charity Booth Program was an entrepreneurship-based program that integrated three main activities: sales, free health screening, and donate & collect. The program was held on 18 and 19 December 2025 (Thursday and Friday) at the Student Plaza, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The sales activity under this program offered food, beverages, and handicrafts, providing an opportunity for Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) students to engage in entrepreneurial activities. The free health screening included blood pressure checks and BMI calculations, which had a positive impact by ensuring that all faculty members were healthy, fit, and well. In addition, the donate & collect activity served as a platform for faculty members to donate basic necessities or second-hand items to underprivileged individuals within the faculty.

[RECAP CHERISHING YOU 2025/2026]

Cherishing You, held from 24 November to 3 December in conjunction with OKU Day, aimed to raise awareness on OKU rights, inclusivity, and the importance of universal sign language. The program featured a Digital Poster Competition (24 November-1 December), where students created posters highlighting OKU awareness and the need for accessible communication.

The main event, OKU Awareness Night on 3 December 2025, included an awareness speech by Puan Marlinah Binti Muslim, Head of the Disability Services and Support Unit (Student Affairs Division), followed by a sharing session from Encik Hakimi on OKU experiences and communication challenges. The night also showcased a performance by 3rd-year nursing students Aleesya Sofea and Ng Wen Ying, a handsign video tutorial, a quiz session, and the prize-giving ceremony for the poster competition. Through this initiative, nursing students were encouraged to develop empathy, inclusivity, and stronger communication skills to better engage with the OKU community.

[RECAP NURSING ORIENTATION DAY 2025/2026]

On 30th October 2025, the Nursing Club successfully held its Orientation Day at Dewan Kuliah Utama, FPSK, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The evening brought together new and senior nursing students in a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with energy, excitement, and meaningful interactions.

The programme featured an acting performance by Year 1 students, followed by an interactive Bingo Challenge, where Year 1 students partnered with seniors to complete engaging mini-tasks that encouraged teamwork, communication, and plenty of laughter. The night concluded with our heartfelt Buddy Session, giving juniors the opportunity to connect with their seniors, gain insight, and form supportive bonds as they embark on their nursing
journey.
