AIMST University proudly congratulates Ms. Sarah Grace Andrew, PhD Scholar, Faculty of Pharmacy, on her outstanding achievements at the APP 14th Annual International Convention & 3rd Indo-Korean Conference.

In recognition of her excellent academic credentials and exceptional research capabilities, Ms. Sarah was honored with the โ€œUnique Talent Award.โ€

Adding to this remarkable success, she secured 3rd position in the highly competitive E-Oration Competition and was conferred the prestigious โ€œLate Smt. Phoolwasa Devi Dubey Memorial Young Researcher Award โ€“ 2025.โ€

The conference, themed โ€œInnovation and Future Challenges in Current Drug Discovery and Development,โ€ was held on December 5โ€“6, 2025, at the Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. The event was organized by the APP Madhya Pradesh State Branch and the APP Korean International Branch, in collaboration with the APP Molecular Pharmacology Division, in commemoration of World AIDS Day.

Strengthening Siddha Medicine โ€ข Celebrating Collaboration โ€ข Elevating AIMST

The Closing Ceremony of the AIMST International Conference on Siddha Medicine (AICSM) 2025, organised by the AIMST Centre for Indian Culture and Tamil Civilization (AIMST-ICTC), was held on 23 November 2025 . The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Kerron Reddy Meka, Chief Operating Officer and Academic Advisor of AIMST University.

The event began with a warm welcome from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Balasundram, setting the tone for a meaningful conclusion to this two-day academic gathering. This was followed by Snr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. K. M. Sundram, who reflected on the immediate outcomes of the conferenceโ€”most notably the introduction of several new short programmes inspired by the discussions and collaborations throughout AICSM 2025. He expressed sincere appreciation to all contributors and reaffirmed AIMST-ICTCโ€™s dedication to driving continuous programmes and initiatives that propel AIMST University forward.

In her closing remarks, Professor Dr. Kerron Reddy Meka applauded the success of AICSM 2025, describing it as a well-coordinated and impactful conference that has set a strong benchmark for future events. She also acknowledged the support of the Faculty of Pharmacy (FOP) and commended the tireless efforts of the organising committee. She further assured that AIMST Universityโ€™s management will continue to support AIMST-ICTC in its ongoing and future endeavours.

The inaugural AICSM 2025 wrapped up on a high note on 22โ€“23 November 2025, organised by the AIMST Centre for Indian Culture and Tamil Civilisation (AIMST-ICTC) with Almaa Herbals, Chennai as the main sponsor and collaborator. The conference was inaugurated on 22 November by YB Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, Pro-Chancellor of AIMST University and Member of Parliament for Tapah.

This first-ever edition made a remarkable impact, bringing together participants from 31 national and international academic institutions; research centres and renowned experts in the field . 136 international participants representing Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, South Africa, Malaysia, Mauritius, China, Germany and the USA and 67 national participants who presented 203 papers presented on diverse aspects Siddha Medicine . The event proved to be a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing and discovery.

Adding to the excitement, local and international Siddha practitioners showcased an inspiring range of products, books, instruments, services, herbal remedies and even herbal plants, enriching the overall experience. The conference also received strong support from 10 local and international collaborators, reinforcing its growing role as a global platform for traditional medicine, academic exchange, and collaborative research.
