Triathlon TRI-AMateur Club We are a triathlon club based in PRESINT 6 PUTRAJAYA , serving multi-sport athletes of all ages and abilities.

The TRI-AMateur Group was started in 2009 by Coach Peter Lau in Putrajaya. It has recently been registered as a Non-Profit Club under Majlis Sukan Negara, and now comprises some 50 athletes, who train every Saturday and Sunday and also on Public Holidays. It is open to all ages, and the youngest are children as young as 8. The main objectives of the group are

1) Promoting the sport of triathlon

to all ages in Malaysia, and improving
the overall standard in the sport;
2) Providing guidance to future Elite triathletes; and
3) Promoting a healthy lifestyle to one and all. The group comprises mainly Malaysians, but welcomes foreigners residing in Malaysia. It has been enjoying reasonable success in 2013 and 2014, its athletes decorating most podiums in not only Malaysian but also South East Asian triathlons, duathlons and aquathlons. It currently has five main coaches, who work tirelessly with the athletes on a voluntary basis

🏆 2026 ASIA TRIATHLON JUNIOR CUP & YOUTH CUP PUTRAJAYA!

Experience two action-packed days of competition designed exclusively for Junior and Youth athletes.
Athletes will race over the SuperSprint distance in an exciting Semi-Finals to Finals format.

📅 Saturday – Semi-Finals
• 4 Semi-Finals for Men
• 4 Semi-Finals for Women
• 30 athletes per Semi-Final
• Qualification: Top 7 athletes from each Semi-Final, plus the next 2 fastest times overall, advance to the Finals

📅 Sunday – Finals Day
The fastest athletes battle it out in a high-intensity Final showdown.

🏆 Podium Awards will be presented for:
• 2026 Asia Triathlon Junior Cup Putrajaya
• 2026 Asia Triathlon Youth Cup Putrajaya (U15)
