Sometimes we feel so much pressure from others to narrow our existential focus and to feel satisfied with uni-directional goals and conventional life paths. But giftedness calls us to experience so many extra dimensions and to pursue countless unconventional paths.
Multidimensional and pluridirectional exploration can be a *very* coherent path. When seen from a larger frame of reference, the fact that our minds jump through and even simultaneously inhabit conventionally visible *and* conventionally invisible spaces, timelines and dimensions, allows for a kind of growth that may not be as readily accessible or as existentially meaningful to those who are called to and feel satisfied with more relatively local and conventional paths.
One version of growth is not better than the other, but they often misunderstand each other: the conventional existential traveler may judge the unconventional existential traveler's path as chaotic and and uncommitted; and the unconventional existential traveler may judge the conventional existential traveler's path as constrained and rigid.
But they're all valid paths. Our individual responsibility is to fully accept and engage in *our own* multidimensional growth path, while appreciating that others' version of the existential growth path is right *for them*.
Naturally, it does often help us to connect to others who feel called to experience extra dimensions and explore unusual paths. That's what our community and work is all about!
